ON MAY LIMA GOES RUNNING

On Sunday May 19^th the streets of San Isidro district will receive more than 14,000 athletes whom will enjoy the experience of running the Marathon Movistar Lima42K 2013. In its fifth year the marathon will visit Lima's most beautiful districts of the capital city of Peru. Run to the edge of the Pacific Ocean and enjoy the beauty of the gardens and parks of Lima in this unforgettable sports experience.

The marathon movistar lima42K 2013 is the only contested in Peru being certified and official measurement  of IAAF and is endorsed by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS). In 2011 and 2012, the International Federation include this competition in the calendar of tests that could establish the mark A and/or B for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
